home | our local | committees ARBITRATION APPEALS COMMITTEE OF LOCAL 285 INTRODUCTION The arbitration appeals committee is made up of Executive Board members from various facilities, to review whether a case should proceed to arbitration. This committee has the final say on the merits of a case, and any membre may appeal the processing of their grievance to this committee if union representatives recommend that their case not be taken further.
