CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS COMMITTEE

Introduction

The Civil and Human Rights addresses issues of equality and fairness in the workplace. They have hlped defend workers who were told they could not speak their native language in non-patient care areas, worked on the Immigration Freedom Riders demonstration in New York City, as well as sponsored several caucuses within SEIU 2020 that take up issues such as domestic partner benefits.
